1. Our parish was established on 19 March, 1983. The coming 19th March marks 40 years since our parish was established. The 40th Year Ruby Jubilee Inauguration will be held on 12th March,Sunday after the H.Qurbana at 9 am by our Bishop Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath.
2. On 19th March, we are celebrating Oottuthirunnal in honour of St Joseph. After 6 pm Solemn Holy Qurbana we will have Oottunercha. Those who can sponsor for Oottunercha, kindly give your contribution at the counter outside.
3. Catechism Annual day Celebrations will be held today from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at Main Hall. Mar John Panamthottam will be the chief Guest. All the students and Parents are expected to participate.
4. Parish Council Meeting will be held on 5th March, next Sunday after 9 am Holy Qurbana at Parish Administrative Block. All the Council Members are requested to attend this meeting. We will give an official sendoff to Lijo Achan and Jithu Achan, our beloved Asst. Vicars, during this meeting. Rev. Fr Lijo Kattottu CMI and Rev Fr Melbin Parappuram CMI, newly appointed Asst Vicars, will be welcomed in this meeting.
5. During the period of Lent, there will be solemn Way of the Cross inside the church at 5.30 pm every Sunday, and around the church after 6.00 pm Holy Qurbana, every Friday. We look forward to the co-operation of all Wards and Convents for the conduct of the Way of the Cross. The time schedule is published on the notice board. Next Friday the Way of the Cross will be led by St Jude Ward and St Alphonsa Ward; Prescious Blood and SD Sisters. Next Sunday the Way of the Cross will be led by St Sebastian, St Chavara Ward and Sanjeevana SH and SCN Sisters. Priests will be available in the Church for Confession from 5 pm onwards on Fridays and Saturdays, in preparation for the Great Lent.
6. General Body Meeting and Oath taking of new office bearers of St Thomas Youth will be held on 5th March, next Sunday at St Chavara Hall after 9 am Holy Qurbana.
7. Applications are invited from Parishioners who hold a Degree and are committed to teach Catechism for the next academic year. The interested applicants shall submit their application at the Parish Office.
8. Admissions are open at Santhome Kinder to Pre-KG, LKG and UKG for the year 2023-2024. Kindly confirm your seats at the earliest as the seats are limited.
9. Shops are available for rent in the Ground Floor and 3rd Floor of St Thomas Shopping Complex. Those who are interested kindly contact the parish office.
10. The Parishioners of Vijaya Matha Church, Yelahanka of our Diocese, will approach you next Sunday as part of fund raising for the construction of their Church. Kindly encourage their initiative with your contributions.
11. In preparation for next year’s Logos Bible Quiz, there will be recitation of the Holy Bible every Sunday after the 9 am Holy Qurbana, in the AC Hall.
12. Meeting of St Christopher Association will be held next Sunday after 7.15 am Holy Qurbana at Rani Maria Hall.
13. There will be a parents meeting of START students on 12th March after 9 am Holy Qurbana at Parish administrative block.
